Why buy direct?
Why buy from me and not Amazon?
You make a good point! Amazon, after all, are the biggest player in the game, they link directly to your kindle, and they're just so easy. So why would you buy direct from your favourite author?
Allow me to try and convince you...
- I CAN READ ON MY KINDLE
Girl, I get it, you bought a kindle and you want to get your money's worth. But you CAN still download on your kindle. I have partnered with Bookfunnel to deliver your book to any device, every device. The world's your oyster. Bookfunnel even have a decent ereader app you want to avoid buying an ereader.
- AMAZON ARE CHEAPER
Not necessarily. If you buy direct, the author gets a much bigger cut, meaning they can often run sales on their books and earn the same whilst saving you money. Their own site also allows them to run deals, giveaways, and discounted bundles. Amazon does not allow this level of fun. Boring.
- I PAY FOR KINDLE UNLIMITED
And you want to wring that subscription for everything it's worth. I don't blame you. My books aren't in KU (at least my English ones), so sorry you won't find them there. Did you know that if an author enrols their book in KU, they're not allowed to sell their ebook anywhere else? It's locks us into Amazon and restricts who we can sell to.
Now this isn't so bad, but what do you think Amazon do if they find your book elsewhere (like on a piracy site)? They shut us down. Without warning. Without payment.
Bye bye career.

It is here too! Card, paypal, afterpay - take your pick.
However, Amazon have a long 60+ payment term for us authors (can you imagine waiting that long to be paid?) AND Amazon take a whopping cut.
So no difference to you, BIG difference for us. It means we can get that next book out quicker.
